Honda Accord ABS DTC 1
Q. Hi Vince, I searched your FAQ's and noticed that you have had many inquiries on this subject. The problem that I am having is that the ABS light turns on approximately 20-30 seconds after the car is driven. I extracted the trouble code, by jumping the test connector on located just beneath the glove compartment.
Turned Ignition on and ABS light blinked, normal power on Check. The following is the code that I received:
I read this as code 1, repeated 3 times. Unfortunately code 1 simply points to pump motor overrun. Is my logic correct and if so what should I start looking at next? Thanks in advance for your time and support.

- 5 seconds elapsed ABS Light Blinked
- 5 seconds elapsed ABS Light Blinked.

SalA. ABS DTC 1 is Pump Motor Over Run. Here is how you test ABS DTC 1. You will need one special tool which your Honda Dealer may lend you, or you might possibly be able to do the pertinent tests without it.
