Bad Honda Starter?

Q. My question is sometimes when I go to start my car, and I turn the key nothing happens, the engine doesn't struggle at all. The clutch is all the way to the floor when I start it. It take like 3 -5 time to finally start. When it started it did it for about a day then stopped for like a week, then it started acting up again for the past couple of days.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but it seems to happen when it rains.

1999 Honda Civic EX
1.6 liter
Manual transmission
Mileage - 37,000

Thank you...

A. I would check to see if you have any warranty left. It sounds like a bad starter to me. What you can do is put a test light on the small terminal on the stsrter solenoid and see if it lights up when you turn the key. If it does, then you have a bade starter.
