Ford Mustang 5.0 Clutch Noises

Q. Hi, My name is James. I have a 1995 Ford Mustang 5.0 and I am having the same problem as this guy, Ford Mustang Noise, Milage. If you could tell me how to get rid of this in a more simpler way I would really appreciate it. I'm not much of a car person so the most easiest and not so Hi-tech way would be best.

Thanks,
James

Ford Mustang 5.0 Clutch Noises

A. As I have said before, this is a noise I would have to hear in order to offer any kind of reasonable suggestion.

The noise could be a bad clutch pressure plate or clutch disc. Or the splines the clutch disc rides on could be dry. In addition the noise could be a bad throwout bearing or input shaft bearing.

You may also have an internal transmission problem. Best thing to do is to let a Ford Dealer or a Transmission Shop take it for a test drive to get a more accurate idea of what's wrong.
