Jeep Cherokee Blows On High

Q. My 1997 Jeep Cherokee A/C fan only blows on high. Is this as simple as replacing a fuse or will I need to pull the dash to replace the fan control switch.

Thanks for your help.
Andrew

A. I'm willing to bet fifty cents in cold hard cash that you have a bad blower motor resistor.

The blower motor resistor is mounted to the bottom of the heater-A/C housing on the passenger side of the vehicle under the instrument panel. It can be accessed for service by removing the heater-A/C housing kick cover.
