Honda Accord Power Windows Q. Hi Vincent, I have a 1997 Honda Accord LX four cylinder with about 70,000 miles. I have power windows, and from the drivers side I can take down the front passenger window, but I cannot bring it back up. The up/down function works from the passenger side, so I know there's nothing wrong with the wiring over there. Any suggestions as to what the problem is, and if I would be able to fix it, would be very appreciated. Thanks, Mihir

A. It is probably a bad Master Power Window Switch at the drivers door.

The Power Window Control Unit and the power window switch are combined into one unit so if either one is bad they both get replaced.

To replace it you will need to remover the door panel. If you are comfortable with that then go for it.
