Lincoln Navigator Air Suspension Pump
Q. My problem is with the rear suspension system on my 2000 Lincoln Navigator. It is a 5.4 liter V-8 SUV with automatic transmission and 4WD. It has ABS brakes and 64,000 miles. In a nut shell, the rear suspension system does not engage. I no longer hear the suspension pump operate and the fuses are intact.
Thank you,
DonaldA. The first thing I would check is the Air Suspension Service Switch. It is located in the right front kick panel. Confirm the switch is ON and hasn't been inadvertently switched OFF.
After that you can use this diagnostic procedure to troubleshoot the inoperative compressor.
