No Start In The Rain

Q. I replaced the Coil on my 1990 Chevy Lumina, and now the car will not start when it rains. I believe that it is electrical, but "spraying" and checking the wire connections doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Allen

A. I'm going to assume this is the Lumina APV and not the Lumina sedan since the sedan has a DIS ignition system.

No start in the rain can only mean one thing. A bad distributor cap and/or rotor and/or ignition wires. I would get a new cap, rotor and wires and put them in. That should solve this problem.
