Toyota Corolla All Trac Wheel Alignment
Q. Dear Vincent, I brought my 1992 Toyota Corolla All Trac 4WD 150,000 miles. to a Tires replacement chain store to purchase four new tires and wheel alignment. The work was done but when I checked the bill at home I notice there wasn't any wheel alignment detailed in the bill. I called them and the said my car requires ONLY front wheel alignment and THAT was the THRUST ANGLE item listed. It was no need for 4 wheel alignment.
I'm still in doubt so I need your opinion on this matter. Is there any truth on these statements?
Thank you in advance,
OmarA. There really isn't any wheel alignment for your vehicle. Caster and camber for the front and rear is not adjustable. If caster and camber are out of specification, usually replacing the front struts will bring it back in. The only adjustment on the front is toe-in.
Likewise in the rear, the only adjustment is toe-in.
If you need definitions, you can look them up in my Glossary.
