Honda Accord Brake Pads And Rotors
Q. Hi, I have a 1995 Honda Accord LX V-6. I've recently done the front and rear rotors on it. The back rotors are fine, but the front rotors seem too small for the brake pads. There is about ½" to ¾" of the brake pad riding above the rotor. The brakes work fine, but it seems that the rotors are too small. I noticed there are two different size brake pads, one being smaller than the other.
My car uses the larger size pads. I was curious as to if there was two different size rotors. I've asked the parts stores, and no one seems to know. Could there be another problem with the braking system? Or is there to different size rotors?

Thank you for your time. I'm just confused as to why my rotors are too small.
A. According to all my parts books, the Honda Accord Coupe has only one brake rotor (P/N: 45251SM4020) and brake pad (P/N: 45022SM4507) listed.
The Honda Accord Sedan and Honda Accord Wagon only have one brake rotor (P/N: 45251SM5A00) and brake pad (P/N: 45022SM5525) listed.
It would seem to me that you got the pads for a sedan or wagon instead of the coupe.
