Ford Taurus OPS Location Q. Vincent, I stumbled upon your web site looking for information on my 1993 Ford Taurus GL 3.0 liter wagon. After going through all the questions and not finding anything related maybe you can help.

I'm looking for the low oil pressure switch on my 3.0 and can't seem to locate it. The idiot light has started to come on when the car is hot and in gear (it goes out if placed in neutral or rpms are raised slightly) and I want to change the switch to rule it out before I drop the pan and pull the timing chain to replace the oil pump and pickup.

A. It's on the left hand side of the engine. It has a white/red wire.
