Eagle Talon Cooling Fan Not Working

Q. Hello I have a 1995 Eagle Talon AWD and the fan that cools the car won't turn on so it runs really hot. I have replaced the fan motor, the Coolant Temperature Sensor and even the PCM. It still doesn't work. It has 110,000 miles, 2.0 liter turbo, automatic transmission, fuel injection It has A/C but needs a compressor, power everything. Any clue?

Eagle Talon Cooling Fan Not Working

A. I would first suspect the cooling fan relay to be faulty given the information you have provided. Beyond that I would have to check for power with a voltmeter or test light, and check the grounds with an ohm meter, at the fan motor and work my way back through the circuits which control the cooling fan until I found the fault.

Also, there is a Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) AND a Coolant Temperature Sender. One, the CTS, is used by the computer and the other, Sender, is used by the dash gauge. It is possible you replaced the wrong one.
