ABS Troubleshooting

Q. I just bought a 1995 Acura Integra. A day later the ABS light stays on and in the dash Maintenance Required light blinks for a while and disappears. I t think the ABS has a problem. What is the easiest way to trouble shoot? Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks,
Zul

A. The best way to start troubleshooting is to access the ABS control unit and see what trouble code it has stored. That will give you a good place to start looking for the problem.

To access the codes, you will need special tool from Acura number 07PAZ-0010100 and insert it into the 2 pin service check connector under the right side of the glove box.
