Buick LeSabre Engine And Seats Die

Q. Hi. I have a 1997 Buick LeSabre with a 3.8 liter engine, automatic transmission, 160,000 miles, ABS, P/S, A/C and cruise control. The car will run fine until it gets to operating temperature. Then the car will stall. When it stalls I also lose the power windows and power seat controls along with the fuel pump. I am at a lose as to what it could be. Please Help.

Buick LeSabre Engine And Seats Die

A. Are you saying that the power cuts out to the engine, seats and fuel pump? If the fuel pump shuts off that will shut off the engine. This is where I would start my diagnosis, why is the fuel pump shutting off? Losing power or ground? Trace all the circuits from the fuel pump forward to their control points. If you fix the fuel pump problem the other problems may also get fixed.
