Ford Taurus Won't Blow Heat
Q. My question, My blower motor has seemed to stop working and its -3°. Well anyway, I checked my fuse beneath the dash and it was fine. I can hear the relay click when I try to adjust the fan, but to no surprise nothing comes out. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
- 1994 Ford Taurus SHO
- 3.2 liter V6
- Automatic
- 77,000 miles
- Fuel Injected
- Power everything, A/C Cruise etc
Thank you
JoeA. If it is manual heating, look under the dash behind the glove box and unplug the blower motor. With a test light see if you have power at the dark blue/light green wire. If not then you probably have a bad Heater Function Switch.
If you do have power, check the orange/black wire for ground in the HI position. If you have no ground in the HI position, you have an open circuit. If you do have power and ground, replace the blower motor.
