Chevrolet CK 1500 Losing Coolant Q. My vehicle is a 1998 Chevrolet CK 1500, 5.0 liter engine, automatic transmission, 73,000 miles, fuel injected, ABS with P/S, A/C and cruise control. I have noticed over the past several months a small amount of anti-freeze on the floor of the garage after driving. This does not happen all the time.

I have checked the overflow several times, but there is never anything in it and the engine never overheats. The anti-freeze level is maybe a cup from being full. I have had the hoses checked and there are no leaks. Any suggestions?

A. Have it pressure tested. Have it filled with Dexcool® and pressure put on system so the leak will show up. My guess is that the intake manifold gaskets are leaking at the corners due to gasket failure.
