Buick Park Avenue Third Brake Light Q. I have a 1989 Buick Park Avenue. I have short in my third brake light that on the trunk luggage rack. There no continuity in the two wire, the other brake light work fine. I was told to look in the trunk hinge area for broken wire, there was none. I can not find the ground wire. Thank you...

A. There is probably a separate switch that controls the third stop light. It should be mounted on the brake pedal. It could be bad. You could run your own ground to this light if that is the problem.
