P/S Fluid In The Brakes

Q. My dad was checking the fluids in my car the other day, and put power steering fluid in the brake fluid reservoir of my 95 Chrysler Cirrus. Should I worry about this and have the brake fluid drained and replaced? I realized two days after the event, but have not felt any difference in how the brakes feel or their stopping ability.

Thanks for your help,
Tim

A. You need to flush out the brake hydraulic system and refill it with new fluid as soon as you can. The P/S fluid will cause the rubber components to deteriorate and you will have leaks and damage to the seals in the calipers and wheel cylinders.

I would get this done ASAP.
