Wrong Flavor Fuel
Q. I have accidentally put gasoline in my 2000 diesel Jetta. What should I do.
A. There's two things you have to do. First, DON'T START THE CAR!!! Second, drain the tank, rinse it with diesel fuel and refill it. Once you have done that, crank the engine, do it before the glow plug light goes out. You do not want to start it, you just want fuel to go through the injection pump and flush it out. It doesn't take long. Once you've done that, you should be able to start it without any problems.
