Oldsmobile Delta 88 Cruise Control Q. I have a 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale and my cruise control doesn't work. What could be the problem? I tried to connect the blue and green wires on the switch together and I am getting power from my switch. It also seems as if all the hoses are attached so what can be the problem? Can you give me like a step by step check list so I can really get down to the bottom of it? Thanks a lot...

A. While I don't have a schematic here to send you, I can tell you that these systems are pretty trouble free. Most problems come from a loss of supply vacuum under the hood. Also can have a bad switch on the turn signal lever. There is also a vacuum switch at the brake pedal to shut it off when you step on brake. Check the vacuum reservoir under the hood for being collapsed or cracked as well.
