Chevy Lumina APV No Start

Q. Hi Vincent, I have a 1991 Chevy Lumina APV with a 3.1-liter V-6. I came home from work and parked the minivan for the night. In the morning it would not start.

Symptoms:
It cranks at a normal rate, but doesn't catch.
There is fuel coming out of the TBI injectors.
The spark plugs were flooded.
Very weak and slow spark.

What I have done up to this point:
Replaced the spark plugs, external ignition coil, and the ignition module.
Checked the battery and it has a good charge.
Checked all of the fuses in the box located inside the dashboard, all OK.

I'm kind of lost from here. The Haynes manual does not go into more detail.

A. The first thing to do is to check the computer for codes. Chances are there is a code stored that will tell you where to start looking. It is also possible that the spark plug wires are bad. A new set of wires would eliminate that possibility.

Once you have the codes, it will be a lot easier to start diagnosing the problem.
