Dodge Caravan Fuel Filter Location Q. The engine cuts out randomly, about once every other day. If it's idling, it stalls. Starts up again without any problem. If it's at speed, it re-starts itself in a heartbeat. Any suggestions you have for me to check welcome. A suggestion I got was to check the fuel filter. I don't know where it is located. A. The fuel filter mounts to the top of the fuel tank. The inlet and outlet tubes are permanently attached to the filter.
