Ford Taurus Not In Heat

Q. Hi Vincent, I have a 1995 Ford Taurus which does not give hot air, I have replaced the thermostat, have flushed the system with no luck. The heater core seems to be okay as I do not see any leak or smell anything. One thing odd is that when I turn on the heater of the two heater core hoses only one (outlet) is hot. However, when I turn the heater off both are hot.

I am assuming that perhaps the heater control valve is not working properly. I have tried to find out where the heater control valve is but have not been successful, can you help me locate it?

Thanks,
Rao

A. You didn't mention if it was manual or automatic climate control which would make a big difference.

I think the most likely possibility is the Air Blend Door Actuator. It sits on top of the heater box and would require removing the instrument panel to access.
