1955 Chevy 350 Conversion

Q. When I let my Subaru idle with the heat on, it soon starts blowing out cool air while the water temperature gauge climbs near to overheating. What do you think is the problem? Thanks. David

A. I wish I could help you with this one Henry, but I have never attempted to do such a modification and I don't know what is available to do the conversion.

The best I can do is refer you to a group who have far more experience with such things and they will be able to help you. They are called the Late Great Chevrolet Association It is a membership group and they do charge a small fee for joining, but they do have the parts and info you need to do the modification. They also have a directory of clubs so you may be able to get the help you need locally.
