Chevy 327's

Q. I have a 235 hp 327 Chevy engine. I need to know what make and year Chevy that it came in from the factory. I want to sell it and need the info.

A. That engine was put in a lot of Chevys for a lot of years. That was one of GM's workhorse engines. It was put in:

• Chevy Camero from 1967 to 1969.
• Chevy Caprice from 1963 to 1969
• Chevy Chevelle from 1966 to 1969
• Chevy II from 1966 to 1968
• Chevy El Camino 1966 to 1969
• Chevy Impala and Impala SS 1963 to 1969
• Chevy Corvette from 1962 to 1968

This is not the definitive list, the 327 has been around for years before 1966 and the last ones were used in 1969. My reference material only goes back to 1966 but I think it's enough for what you need.
