Air Shocks To Passive Shocks

Q. I have a 1993 Cadillac Seville STS, my struts and compressor are completely gone. I understand there are passive struts for this vehicle. Due to the expense of the OEM parts, I want to by-pass the electronic and air control. Is this at all possible?

A. The car came either way, so I don't see why you couldn't change all the parts needed to put it back to normal struts.

When you get the parts, get a copy of TSB 00-03-11-001A dated 8/2000. That will tell you the procedure to disable the illumination of the service indicator AFTER the installation of passive struts/shocks.
