Time To Make The Bed Q. Hello my name is Ray and I live in the great state of Tennessee!! Well the reason I write to you and I thank you for taking time out of your important job to answer a question of mine. But I want to restore this old truck. It is a real beauty, original paint real straight.

It's got a 350 V-8 in it. I would have rather had the original and I probably will one day but my question is the bed on my Chevy needs new wood and I was hoping I could replace it myself but don't know where turn. is their a company who would carries a well made kit like this? Well I've taken to much of your time already.

A. Ray, answering questions like yours is my job and I'm glad to do it. Don't ever think it's a bother to ask and I always have time to answer.

I'm not much into restoring older cars like this and I think the best person to ask would be our Vintage Cars Guide Teri Olcott. She knows much more about what is available to restore older cars and trucks than I do. Drop her a line and I'm sure she will be able to help you.

You can also try posting in my Forum. There are a lot of people there who restore older cars there as well.
