Accords Won't Start

Q. There are 3 1988/1989 Honda Accords, including mine, at my auto service mechanics location. All have intermittent starting problems. Every few days for the last three weeks, when I am away from home, the engine cranks, but will not start up. If I return the next day, the car starts and runs just fine.

When it was not starting, I removed the plug on top of the gas filter, cranked the engine, and no gas came out. Can you give me an idea what might be wrong with the fuel system?

Thanks,
Don

A. Now that the weather is getting warmer this problem is beginning to surface again.

This is a common problem with Hondas and if you read my article Honda Main Relays you'll get all the details.
