Jeep Cherokee Wipers Don't Work

Q. Hi, I just bought a used 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I did not check the wipers when I bought it and now when I did use them, found out they are not working: what I mean is sometimes they do start but very, very slowly and then stop halfway. Most times they do not start at all. Is this a problem with the motors or something else?

Please let me know,
Yash

Jeep Cherokee Wipers Don't Work

A. The most likely cause of this condition is the wiper motor. The wiper motor should be removed and bench tested and replaced as necessary.
