Nissan Spits Out Gas

Q. I have a 1986 1/2 Nissan truck with Z-24i engine auto trans w/od, it has 108,000 miles. Did complete tune up and fluid change and general service last month. The problem I am having is it seems to run fine most of the time but stalls out if it has to be in stop and go traffic to long. The fuel pump has been replaced and the throttle body was just resealed and O2 sensor replaced. The truck seems to flood out, there is no dripping in the venturies when the key is on and the pump has pressurized the system. It stalled last night and would not start, the next morning it started and blew out a wet spot on the ground of unburnt gas and chugged and bucked and stalled again. It has been running just fine until just lately, but now I cannot depend on it. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Dave

A. That engine had big problems with the injectors dumping fuel, so my guess is that's where the problem is. The computer does check them electrically, but the problem is mechanical so you will not see a check engine light come on.
