Reatta Has Bad Worms
Q. The windows in this 1989 Reatta only go down and up part way, also the hidden lights will not go up and down. Motors are fine, seems to be the plastic worm gear that is creating the problem. Would appreciate if you could help me out on this as to how I might repair this problem.
I have tried all over to purchase the plastic worm gear with no success. I have this part removed, but no one seems to be able to give me any solution to the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AndyA. I don't think you will find that worm gear separately. As far as I know the only way to get it is by getting the whole motor/actuator assembly.
As for the windows, you may have a problem with the window regulators or the motors themselves.
