Wheel Locks

Q. Dear Vincent, Here is the deal, I was driving on the road and I had sort of a blow out but it was drivable. It was the tread of the tire that came loose. Okay so I get a jack out like what any normal person would do right I couldn't get the hub cap off. It's one of those lock hub caps.

So I call Buick dealership and I buy this tool. Well the hole that's suppose to fit it is too small. It a red in color and I have a 1993 Buick Skylark but I have hub caps of a LeSabre. No I don't know how much more confusing this could be but all I want is to get the hub caps off. If I have a bad tire and put the spare but I can't do that if I can't even get the hub cap off right. Well I hope you respond soon.

Jamie

A. What I would recommend is to take the car to a shop and have the locks drilled out so you can get the wheel covers off. Then, if you want, you can buy a wheel lock set or just replace the locks with regular bolts.
