Chevy Astro DTC P0102

Q. Hi, I have a Check Engine Light on my 1996 Chevy Astro 4.3 liter V-6, so I got an OBD scan tool and hooked it up. The code it gave me was a P0102 "Mass Air Flow Sensor Circuit Low Frequency". Where would you start with this type of problem? Also, I have replaced the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor and air charge sensor. Still same code.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

A. You need to check the wires to the sensor and terminal tension. Also make sure the snorkel hose is not letting any air get by that sensor. Any leaks will let air get into the engine un-accounted for by the PCM.
