4L60E To Turbo 350 - Revisited

Q. My previous question was: 4L60E To Turbo 350. I plugged the sensor into the harness and tied it up under the hood but the light still comes on. But it doesn't come on until after 3,500 rpm same as before. Does the speed sensor actually have to be under the car? What else can I do?

One more question my drive shaft was cut down by a couple different places and I still have a vibration. Will a drive shaft from a 200R4 work?

A. The sensor may be rattling around and setting a false code. Shouldn't have to be under the car. BUT, the shorter cable may help in calming it down. As for the shaft, just get a new one made up. If the one you have now is the correct length, you know how long the new tube needs to be.
