Acura Dies Warm

Q. Vince~ I have a 1988 Acura Legend and I just recently started getting this problem. When I start up the car when its cold, it starts just fine. When I drive it and warm up the car and shut it off, then start it up again shortly after, the engine will start but then immediately die. Kind of like I was turning on the car then immediately turning it back off. I was reading about ECM's and the Fuel Injection problems, and they seem to tie in with my problem. I really hope I don't have a fuel injection problem, but I have a bad feeling I do.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A. You know, I do too. It sounds like a bad temp sensor or other sensor input. The good news is the computers in that car have a good record of reliability and don't often go bad. Also if it is a sensor then it would be a relatively inexpensive repair. I would take it to a shop and see if there are any stored codes and you will know for sure.
