Acura Integra Timing Belt Q. Hello Vincent, Would you please give some tips on timing chain replacement for 1990 Acura Integra GL model? I am having trouble to remove Crankshaft Pulley. Thanks for your help. Kwanho

A. There is nothing tricky about removing the pulley. It is pretty close to a press fit. Sometimes you can get two big screwdrivers behind it and wiggle it off. Just be careful of what you are pushing against. You don't want to break anything. If you can't wiggle it off, you can use a harmonic balancer puller to get it off. If you don't have one you can rent one pretty cheap at a tool rental store.

Here are the camshaft and crankshaft timing marks if you need them.

This is an interference type engine which means it will bend valves if the timing is off. I would recommend rotating the engine by hand to be sure it is right before starting it.
