BMW 328i A/C Works, Don't Works
Q. 1996 BMW 328i. The A/C goes dead sometimes. When it works it works fine, blower air temperature and the lights on the control panel all work fine. Then all of a sudden every thing will go off. The blower and the lights on the panel. If I bang on the side of the A/C display, sometimes it will go back on. The fuses are good. Any help?
A. The only help I can offer is this. There are two possibilities, either the Control Assembly is bad or the connector or wiring behind the Control Assembly is loose or disconnected.
It is not very difficult to pull out and inspect or replace. Just partially remove the clock.
