Misubishi No Start

Q. I have a 1992, V6, Mitsubishi Diamante. Mileage is 113,000. Tried to start it and couldn't. Waited a few hours then tried again and it started. Next day, same thing happened. Third day, same story. Now it won't start again at all. Any idea what the problem is and how to fix it. Battery is good. Plugs are new. Plenty of gas. Never had a problem with the car before this. Help!

It makes noise like it's trying to start; then it just stops making any kind of starter noise just as if the battery has gone dead. Then the car is dead and won't do anything.

A. Sounds to me like your battery is ready to go to the Great Battery Corral in the sky. I would take it in and have the charging system and starter tested and make sure they are operating within specs and if they are, replace the battery. That should take care of the problem.
