Mercury Sable Blows Only High Speed Q. Hi, Thank you for your service. The heater fan on my wifes 1997 Mercury Sable wagon only works on high. The fan doesn't work on the two lower settings. Can you please offer advice. Thank you, Simon

A. Sounds like a bad Blower Motor Resistor to me.
