Mercedes 300SD Backup Lights

Q. I have a problem with the reverse lights and I can't find how to make them work; any place to start the inspection??? Fuse okay, bulbs okay. But there are some work with the wires and seems that all the system is okay. Except that lights. It's my first Mercedes and I'm falling in love of it. By the way, I fix the tachometer only placing a cigar filter between the cap and the amplifier. Now works as brand new.

Thanks again…

A. You probably have a bad backup light switch. The backup light switch is part of the Neutral Safety Switch so the whole assembly will have to be replaced.
