BMW 325i Keeps Over Heating Q. My 1995 BMW 325i keeps over heating. I thought the over heating was due to the radiator allowing vapor to escape from the sides. I had the radiator replaced, but this didn't stop the overheating. What could be the problem?

A. The thermostat is probably bad. I would try replacing it. That will, most likely, take care of it.

The coolant thermostat is located in the front of the engine under the thermostat housing.

Make sure arrow points up.
