BMW 325i Keeps Over Heating

Q. My 1995 BMW 325i keeps over heating. I thought the over heating was due to the radiator allowing vapor to escape from the sides. I had the radiator replaced, but this didn't stop the overheating. What could be the problem?

A. The thermostat is probably bad. I would try replacing it. That will, most likely, take care of it.

The coolant thermostat is located in the front of the engine under the thermostat housing.
