Plymouth Sundance Signal Bulb
Q. Hello: I have a 1991 Plymouth Sundance 2-door hatchback, with a basic and so far frustrating problem: the left turn signal doesn't flash. I know why the light stays constant - the side lamp (driver's side) has burned out. I know the problem, I know the replacement bulb, my hurdle is getting into the light. The repair guide I have says the lens is held in by screws, "which are easily removed for access".
The issue is that when I approached the light to change the bulb, there were no screws. Before I use the flathead screwdriver as a mini pry bar to pop the lens out so I can get to the bulb (probably breaking the lens, stabbing myself in the hand and getting a shock because I forgot to disconnect the battery), I'd like to ask if that's how I'm supposed to do it, or is there something I'm missing?
Thank you,
GlennA. If this old brain remembers correctly, there is, like, a big thumbscrew behind the lens. This thumbscrew is what's holding the lens in and undoing it will allow it to come out.
