Nissan Maxima Cruise Control In-op

Q. When I came to a stop, I depressed the clutch but could not move the shifter. I had to turn off the engine, move the shifter to first , then depress the clutch and start the engine to move. This happened twice more, but has not happened since. Ever since I have owned the car the clutch seems to engage in different places as I let it out.

I have adjusted the rod from the clutch lever to the reservoir and it now seems to stay where I like it.

Also, the cruise control has stopped working. I have checked the vacuum hose and all seems to be okay. Please send me the diagram as to where the module is. Is there a fuse for this?

Thank you in advance for your help,

A. It seems as if you fixed the first problem yourself. I think what's happening is the clutch disk or pressure plate is hanging up.

Here is a diagram of the location of the cruise control (ASCD) module. The related fuse are 10, 12, 13 and 17. 15 amp, 7.5 amp, 10 amp and 10 amp, respectively.
