Fuel Filter Location

Q. Vince, your site is fantastic. I believe I should replace my fuel filter in my 1994 Honda Accord LX. 2.4 liter, 99,000 miles, automatic transmission. Where am I looking for this filter ? (a familiar component location will help). Any special instruction? Funny thing, I work in the auto industry and can't locate it on this go-cart.

I am going to take the easy way out first. In the last five days it has not been turning over "On A Dime" like it was when I gave it a tune up at 85,000. The days are still cool in New England and it appears to now have a 5 - 6 second start up, rough idle (even after new timing belt) and a slight slip in highway idle performance. The fuel pump appears to be delivering. If pump appears to be a fault, I'll test it and purchase a new one from the service line at work.

A. Here's a diagram that should help you locate it. It's fun to get to.
