GMC A/C Leaking

Q. Vince, I have a 1995 GMC Sonoma, extended cab, 2 WD, 2.2 liter 4-Cylinder, Manual Transmission. My A/C is leaking puddles of water on the passenger side floor. My initial thought is that the drain hose for the evaporator is plugged. However, there is at least some water draining outside the truck.

The water draining outside the truck is not coming out of a tube, it is just coming out of the housing around the evaporator.

To add to this, I can't find a drain tube anywhere to even see if it might be plugged. Do you have any ideas as to what might be happening? Can you tell me where the drain tube should be?

Thanks for your time and help.
Eric

A. There is a drain hole in the HVAC case that is probably clogged up with debris. The best I can tell you is it's about on the same plane as the heater hoses except down low on firewall, possibly covered over with a foil shield. It sticks out about an inch with a rubber elbow on it.
