Dodge Dynasty Hesitation

Q. Hi, I am trying to find an answer to a problem I am having with my 1992 Dodge Dynasty with the 3.3 liter V-6. The problem I am having only occurs every now and then. Sometime it will run fine for a few days then give me problems and after it sits overnight it will run fine again. Most of the time it does it going down the highway.

Dodge Dynasty Hesitation

It starts to hesitate, you have to almost push the pedal to the floor before it will take off again. Then when you let up on the pedal it starts to do it again. I have been told since the check engine light is not on it cannot be diagnosed.

I have changed the fuel filter, plugs and wires, and the coil pack and I cannot get rid of the problem. A friend told me it could be the EGR Valve sticking could that be it?

Thanks for your help,
Daylon

A. A sticking EGR valve if a good possibility for this. The best way to confirm this is to unplug the vacuum line at the EGR valve and block it off. Then drive it. If the problem does not reappear, you have confirmed it.
