Chevy Lumina Flashing CEL Q. Hello, I have a 1997 Chevy Lumina. Just had a tune up including new Bosch plugs, cables, PCV, air filter and fuel filter. Check Engine Light was off for about two weeks but is not back on. Engine runs rough, okay in Neutral. Check engine light is flashing, although steadily on when car is first started. EGR perhaps? Thank You! Doug

A. A flashing Check Engine Light is not good! This means there is a catalytic damaging misfire going on! You need to get this checked pronto before you take out the catalytic convertor!
