Q. After the car is warmed up to mid point on the temperature gauge it revs up when coming to a quick stop. No other symptoms other than some times it accelerates a little rough.

ChasA. I guess the first thing I would suggest is to remove the idle Air Control Valve and give it and the chamber it goes into a good cleaning with carburetor cleaner. Also, remove the air intake hose at the intake manifold and give the throttle chamber and butterfly a good cleaning as well. In most cases this cleaning will solve the problem.
