Replacing Dodge Durango T/S Bulbs
Q. I'm trying to determine how to remove the passenger front turn signal housing, so I can replace one of the bad bulbs. I see no visible screws to take out.
- 1998 Dodge Durango
- 5.2 liter V-8
- Automatic transmission
- 122,000 miles
- Fuel Injection
- ABS brakes
- P/S, A/C, Cruise control
- Rack and pinion steering

REMOVAL
- Remove torx screw attaching park lamp to head lamp module.
- Pull the park and turn signal lamp outward and separate from head lamp module.
INSTALLATION
- Remove park and turn signal sockets from back of lamp.
- Remove side marker socket from back of lamp.
- Separate park and turn signal lamp from vehicle.
- Install side marker socket in back of lamp.
- Install park and turn signal sockets in back of lamp.
- Using the guides on the bottom and side of the head lamp module, align the park and turn signal lamp under head lamp module.
- Slide the park and turn signal lamp inward under head lamp module. Push firmly until the lamp is seated.
- Install screw attaching park lamp to head lamp module.
For the bulb itself:
REMOVAL
- Remove park and turn signal lamp.
- Rotate bulb socket ¼ turn counterclockwise and pull turn signal lamp socket from back of lamp.
- Pull park and turn signal lamp bulb from socket.
INSTALLATION
- Install park and turn signal lamp bulb in socket.
- Install park and turn signal lamp socket into back of lamp.
- Install park/turn signal lamp.
