Dodge Neon RT Engine Swap

Q. I'll start with the information on the car so you know what I'm dealing with.

Dodge Neon RT Engine Swap

Based on prior experience, I'm pretty sure it's eaten a rod bearing. Teen driver, no oil, hard knock, quiets when oil is added. My question is, can you tell me what other vehicles use this same block? I'm going to try pulling a low to moderate mile block from a wrecking yard, but Neon RTs are not terribly common here in Las Vegas.

Thanks
Andrew

A. Checking apples for apples, any 2.0 liter SOHC from a 1997, 1998 or 1999 Dodge or Plymouth Neon will fit. That is not to say you can't use a 2.0 liter DOHC. It will bolt in but you would have to use the whole engine.

On this vehicle the "RT" designation is more of a trim level than anything else.
