If you can not find your answer here, you can send it to me for an answer. Generally, due to the volume of mail I receive, it is three to five days between when I get your question and post the answer. If your question is in need of an immediate answer, I would suggest calling me and I can give you an answer over the phone.
Due to the overwhelming response and popularity of my Questions and Answers section and the hundreds of e-mails I get daily, I'm afraid I have to put some kind of a limit on how many questions I can accept. I don't want to "pick and choose" questions to answer, I want to answer all your questions, but I am just one person with a full time job and there are just too many for me to answer in a timely fashion. So what I decided to do is, on this page, I will post when I can accept questions and when I have too many to handle. I promise to answer as many as I can, but please understand when I have to not accept any.
If you have an urgent question, I will still be available for live advice by phone. So a phone call to me will get you an immediate answer. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I have been getting some assistance in answering questions. Bob, who is a GM Dealer Technician, now handles all the GM (except Cadillac) questions and Dan who does the European car questions.
AOL is at it again. They have resumed blocking mail from me and About.com. So if you are an AOL user and do not get a notice that your question was answered and posted, it is not because I'm ignoring you. It is because AOL, in all its infinite wisdom, is keeping my mail from getting to you. If you have an alternate E-mail address, please use that to send your questions and you will get my response.
